Northgate Link Extension
A 4.4-mile light rail extension including two cut-and-cover stations, a cut-and-cover crossover and 2.5 miles of underground guideway.
Hoffman Tunnels provided tunnel and underground design, cut-and-cover structural design and construction phase services.
The extension connects a new elevated station to a below-grade cross-passage complex, all within a live operating corridor. Our work included excavation support design, dewatering, utility protection and settlement monitoring across 14 separate work packages.
