Jason Hoffman
CEO
The engineer who started it all.
Jason Hoffmann is a principal engineer with more than 25 years of underground design and construction experience, predominantly in the rail transit, mining, highway, water supply, and wastewater sectors. He started the company in 2005.
Since then he has built Hoffman Tunnels around a simple idea: that the engineers who design a tunnel should also understand what it takes to build one. That belief shapes how we staff projects, how we run our design reviews, and why we put boots on site before we sign a drawing.
Jason leads the firm's technical direction, works directly with clients on the most complex ground conditions, and remains — as he likes to put it — “the tunnel nerd who reads the geotechnical report for fun.”
